National Civil Rights Museum – I’m glad we went, but even though you know the history, it’s still gut-wrenchingly disturbing to see it all displayed through stories, pictures, and videos

The sit-ins started on Feb.1, 1960 when four black college students sat down at a Woolworth lunch counter in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina

I bought one copy of this book on the way out through the gift shop; Lynn and I read it; Went back the next day and bought 3 more copies … Wow!

… and of course we had to do a Mississippi Riverboat Cruise 🐊 🛟 ⚓️

… lastly we took a quick stroll down Beale Street … mainly because Joan told us we had to 😁 but it seemed kind of yucky actually 😐 not really for us 🤷🏻‍♀️
